Daffcon 2016

With Salute kicking off this weekend, I thought I'd take a quick look back at Daffcon from last week. I was lucky enough to get the weekend off work and decided to take full advantage of that fact with 3 days of solid gaming.

Big thanks to Mike Marshall for running the event and to all the TOs for their respective tournaments. Also a shout out to everyone who was running demo games and of course to everyone in attendance, it wouldn't have been the same without you.

Speaking of demo games, keep an eye for Gaslands in the future. If you like Mad Max style car smash fests then this is one for you. It's still very early days yet, but play test rules are available from their website, HERE.

And of course it wouldn't be a Grinning Loon post without a few goblins to brighten things up. Here's my gang from the Frostgrave event on the Friday led by the Wizard Badger the Infuriating.

Last, but not least, possibly the highlight of the weekend for me, Batman. Started out with a confident Bane crew led by Tom Hardy and ended with a nice little head count of named characters under my belt. Unfortunately, Adam West Batman was not among them.
